While I was stuck in the suburbs of Seattle in a town called Mill Creek I went down the rabbit whole of digital cameras with film simulations. I had flown up to Seattle from LA after not seeing Lanfranco for over a month. He was on a roadtrip now making his way back to Los Angeles. He was two hours away from the airport when his car broke down and was stranded after not having a tow truck willing to come, the sun was starting to set and it was a Friday night which meant most mechanic shops were closed until Monday. I took myself into the city for a 3 hour dinner to kill some time and have a place to stay while it got dark. I was about to book a hotel when my moms friend Jesse reached out and invited us to stay with her and her boyfriend John in Mill Creek, a suburb outside of Seattle. They picked me up from the restaurant, meanwhile Lanfranco had found a ride with a stranger who possessed the exact same bike and car heading to Seattle.
